CipherForge LLC ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Roar mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our App.

Information We Do NOT Collect

We want to be clear about what we don't do:

• We do NOT require user accounts or registration
• We do NOT store your translations on our servers
• We do NOT sell or share your personal information
• We do NOT track your location
• We do NOT have access to your saved notes

How the App Works

Text Translation:

When you translate text, your input is sent to a third-party translation service (MyMemory API) to process the translation. This data is not stored after the translation is completed.

Voice Translation:

Voice recognition is processed using Apple's built-in Speech Recognition framework on your device. Audio is not sent to our servers.

Camera/Image Translation:

Text recognition (OCR) is processed on-device using Apple's Vision framework. Your photos are not uploaded to any server.

Saved Notes:

Any translations you save are stored locally on your device only. We cannot access this data.

Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

• MyMemory Translation API: Processes translation requests. Text is sent securely and is not permanently stored. See their privacy policy at mymemory.translated.net
• Apple Services: Speech recognition and text recognition are processed through Apple's on-device frameworks
• Apple App Store: Handles any subscription purchases according to Apple's privacy policy

Data Storage

All app data (saved translations, preferences, language settings) is stored locally on your device using iOS's secure storage. This data is:

• Only accessible by you
• Deleted when you uninstall the app
• Not backed up to our servers

Children's Privacy

Our App does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. The App is safe for users of all ages.

Your Rights

Since we don't collect personal data, there is no personal data to request, modify, or delete from our systems. You can delete all local app data by uninstalling the App from your device.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
